Being in the middle of this certificate right now, I can say it’s been a good fit for me. I’ve done an online certificate before through a university, so I have something to compare it to. I felt pleased with how the lessons are set up. I really like that we talk about things and share ideas, which helps me learn better. My main goal was to get overseas and meet folks, and this course feels like it’s giving me the tools for that. The teaching practice parts are useful, too. It’s pretty solid all around.

I just wrapped up the university-level online certificate. It was alright, I guess. The lessons were pretty straightforward, but nothing blew me away. I’m less happy than I thought I’d be now that it’s over. My main push was to get ready for living somewhere totally new, so that part is done. I might check out another course with them down the road, maybe. The teaching practice bits were useful enough, I suppose.
