Looking at this program as someone who just wrapped up the online certificate, I can say it did the job. I’m a structured learner, so the self-paced modules worked fine for me, though I did have to make my own schedule. The grammar and lesson planning parts were pretty thorough. It gave me a decent foundation for teaching abroad, which is what I wanted. I felt a bit relieved when it was over, honestly. The material is solid for the price, but don’t expect a lot of hand-holding. It’s a good stepping stone to see the world while doing something meaningful.

I just wrapped up this online certificate last week. It was a solid experience overall. Meeting folks from all over the place in the forums was a real highlight for me. Feeling pretty good about it. The lessons were useful, and I feel more ready for the classroom now.

The whole thing went by faster than I thought it would. Working through the self-paced lessons at night after my shift was pretty manageable. I’m just somewhat happy I stuck with it. Now I’m really excited to pack my bags and finally live somewhere totally new. It feels real now.

It was a decent way to spend a few months. I’m a hands-on learner, so the teaching practice with real students really helped me get the hang of things. I took this course mainly to live abroad and meet folks, and it did open some doors for that. The online part felt a bit long, but overall, I’m somewhat happy with the experience. Working with others made the whole thing easier for me. I liked that we could share ideas during the teaching practice sessions. It felt less scary that way. I was thrilled to finish the 300-hour course and have that weight off my shoulders. The main reason I signed up was to gain more freedom in my life, and I think I got that.
