I just finished the self-paced TEFL course last week. I was hoping to get a more international perspective, and the course definitely helped with that. I’m the type of person who learns best by trying things out, and I felt the course was a bit light on that. I wish there had been more practical, hands-on tasks to really practice teaching.
Having said that, I was really encouraged by my progress by the end. The feedback on my assignments was very helpful. One instructor, *******, was one of the best teachers I’ve had. They made the material much clearer. For the price, it was a good start for my goal of teaching abroad.
